Yeah, maybe? Maybe asking for sources is not a good reason to KLine
me from your irc server and block my access to the web server
distributing the sources. Maybe the fact that people keep asking for
source to your Cromwell modifications and not finding it is a problem
that you should want fix?

The GPL doesn't exist to ``stand for'' something. It exists to _do_
something. It's a simple legal document that requires you to do
things. You don't get to comply with what it ``stands for'' or with
what it's ``spirit'' means to you or anything like that. It's not a
religious debate. It's copyright law. You have to do what it says
you have to do, or you will lose your right to distribute your
``Gentoox Loader''.
Yes, I will pursue this, because installing on my XBox was held up for
months by your terse and inadequate responses to my friend on where he
could get your source code. It's clear to me from your behavior that
you're trying to hide it. From my own problems finding it, from
Google's problems finding it, and from the fact that no one else on
your ``forums'' seems to know where to find it, it seems many others
in this ``community'' have trouble getting GPL compliance out of you
as well. What do you have to gain from exposing yourself to legal
problems and your reputation to damage in this way?

Leaving aside for a moment whether the GPL allows and requires you to
do, please explain to me what it is you feel you're gaining from
deliberately obfuscating the location of the sources and refusing to
remedy the problem when it's pointed out to you.
